Gemalto has introduced modified SIM cards for use with (sub)notebooks with SIM slots such as the MSI Wind. The special SIM cards actually have embedded mini DVD with a capacity of 50MB, which is more than to carry drivers and other data. So aside from providing wireless Internet connectivity, it gives the user additional storage space.
