Ultra-thin notebooks could take off in 2010

According to according to OEM Compal Electronics chair Rock Hsu, Intel-based ultra-thin notebooks will account for 10% of global notebook shipments in 2009. Compal's own notebook shipment for H1 2009 has reached 14 million and is on target for its 32 million unit projections, or 22% of global notebook shipments.
