The folks at Gizmodo has reviewed the Motorola Droid and are pretty impressed with it. Their conclusion is simple: If you don't buy an iPhone, buy a Droid. Meaning it is the second best smartphone you can buy, even with some serious flaws including a crappy camera.
The platform also has a lot of potential. Android 2.0 itself is a remarkable update of the Google mobile OS, with new navigation app, new contacts/social network syncing, better email management, better browser though music and video management still fall short of the iPhone.
