Everex plans 10" Eee PC killer

Everex plans to release a larger 10.2" 1024 x 600 backlit LCD-equipped Cloudbook with 3G capabilities and WiMAX in November. Other features include 2GB max of RAM, 1.3MP webcam, express card slot, 4 in 1 card reader, two USB ports, either a 4-cell or 6-cell battery and Windows XP or Linux OS. The processor will likely come from affiliate VIA although Intel's Atom is being considered.

Everex will also launch new 8.9in models by the end of August, along with a model with WiMax wireless internet capability in September.
