MSI Wind PC to Challenge Asus Eee Box

After launching the its Wind subnotebook to challenge the Asus Eee PC, MSI has launched the Wind PC to compete with the Eee Box. There are no specifications other than that it comes with a 160GB 7200 rpm HD, Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11n, DVD combo drive and a TV card. Info on RAM or OS is not available. In addition, there is also no word or pricing or shipping date.

What is also known is that power consumption at full operation is a mere 35 watts. This means it can run without a fan. The Wind PC is also tiny, measuring just 300 mm x 260 m by 410 mm, or about 83% smaller than an ATX chassis.
