Moblin 2.0 is beginning to look like the best OS ever... even over my current favourite: Mac OS X Leopard.
There's so many excellent ideas being put to good use and yet it hasn't become unwieldy or ugly.
My favourite feature would have to be the ability to power off without having to first choose Shutdown from within the OS - something I have missed since I moved on from Amiga (all those years ago); much better than silly Windows, where you click on Start to shutdown(?!).
Funny all these years of using Windows I have never realized the irony (stupidity?) who having to click on Start to shutdown. I guess I have become so jaded when it comes to MS stuff. hehe
I'm actually hoping they make Moblin available for more than just Atom CPU's. I think it would work magnificently as a fully fledged OS, not just for netbooks.

I think a lot of us are hoping for that too (think Arm) but somehow I have a feeling we are a bit too optimistic.
But then, who knows?
