Asus Eee PC Build Series

For those who want to know, Asus Eee PCs are referenced by their build series, which indicates when a particular unit was built. The build series is actually represented by the first two characters of a unit's serial number (SN). E.g. If a unit's SN is 7A0AAQ026027 then it was built in October 2007. The sequence goes like this -

7A = built in October 2007
7B = built in November 2007
7C = built in December 2007
81 = built in January 2008
82 = built in February 2008
83 = built in March 2008
.
.
.
88 = built in August 2008
89 = built in September 2008
8A = built in October 2008.

Build Series 81s are now available in some countries. Unfortunately these units still don't have the second mini PCIe found in the Build Series 7A units, so it looks like the second mini PCIe is permanently gone.
