How to get 3G working on the HP Mini 1000

User dplxy over at the Pocketables forum has posted full instructions on how to add 3G to the HP Mini 1000. Basically you need to download and install a WWAN driver from HP, then slot your SIM card into the battery compartment.

Speeds are reported to be solid but it makes the three cell battery drain pretty fast. The downside is the approach may not work with older versions of the Mini 1000.
