Further details of ASUS’ upcoming ebook reader have emerged, with WiFi, 3G and WiMAX versions to be announced before the year end. The ebook readers will begin reaching carrier partners in the US and Europe by March 2010.
ASUS will likely introduce two different sized readers, a 6-inch e-ink display while a and a larger 9-inch panel. ASUS apparently plan to trial these with Taiwanese charities before a commercial launch, at which point both branded and white-label models will be available.
