Per Digitimes, both MSI and Gigabyte are planning to launch their low-cost PCs by the end of the second quarter this year. MSI showcased its Wind notebook at CeBIT 2008. The Wind has either an 8.9" or 10" LCD and will cost USD470 - USD1099. Gigabyte, on the other hand, expects to market its low-cost PC with telcos with the initial launch mainly focusing on Taiwan and Asia.
