Gateway returns to Singapore with a barrage of four laptops

Gateway, now owned by Acer, has returned to Singapore after leaving almost eight years ago with the launch of four new laptops, including a 8.9" netbook, the LT1001g.

The $688 LT1001G looks remarkably similar to the Acer Aspire One and comes with 1.6 GHz Atom processor, 1 GB RAM and 160 GB hard disk drive and weighs just 1kg.
