16GB Asus Eee PC?

According to Akihabara News Asus Japan has announced it will be releasing a 16GB version of the Eee PC in that country. In addition, they will be offering the Windows XP as a pre-install option.

It would be very interesting to see how the Asus Eee PC will fare in Japan given the wide range of tiny portables available over there.
