While Intel has, for quite some time now, been promising Wimax in notebooks in 2008, it remains to be seen if it can actually deliver. Moreover, 2008 can mean a delivery date of January or December.

More importantly, how will battery life be affected? If the Eee PC's battery life is cut in half, functionality will decrease significantly.
