Asus Eee PC 2G Surf Missing Some Apps

For those considering buying the Asus Eee PC 2G Surf Model, which comes with only 2G SSD flash storage as compared to the 4G Model which has 4G SSD flash storage, you may want to take note that it has fewer pre-installed applications.

Notably, the Mail and PIM applications, which are come with the 4G, are gone. So are some games and applications like the Ebook and World Clock.

Asus Eee PC 2G Surf Launched

The SF Chronicle via SFGate.com has reported the launch of the the 2G Surf version of the Asus Eee PC at a price of $299.
