Wistron lands 3D notebook orders from HP and Dell

According to Digitimes Wistron has landed 3D notebooks orders from (HP) and Dell, and is currently negotiating with Lenovo and Sony. Said 3D noteboooks will incorporate Wistron's own 3D system based on its own patents therefore the cost will not much be higher than that of conventional notebooks.

The 3D notebooks will most likely be targeted at the gaming sub-segment, as there are a number of new games that have been optimized to deliver an enhanced 3D experience. Other applications will also likely be in multimedia.
