Mobinnova Beam (aka élan) Smartbook to launch in January

Mobinnova has promised it will launch its élan Smartbook at CES 2010. The 8.9" Windows CE-based unit was originally announced at Computex earlier this year with specs that include HD video playback, NVIDIA Tegra chipset, and long battery life. It will likely be offered with a carrier subsidy.
