NEC has announced its netbook entry, the LaVie Light. Unfortunately it does not have much going for it. It is a plain-looking as they come and possesses only the standard specifications -
* Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz processor
* 8.9" LCD display
* 160GB hard drive
* 1GB RAM
* Wi-Fi connectivity
* Three USB 2.0 ports
* SD memory card slot
* 1.3 megapixel camera
Hopefully its price will make it attractive.
