According to Asus CEO Jerry Shen, his company will slowly be phasing out models with less than 10" screens by next year. In addition, he expects the standard configuration to have a hard drive and running Windows XP - much like the current MSI Wind U100 or Asus' own Eee PC 1000H.
The company also will be launching a $200 (£123/€156) Eee PC next year to help it capture 1/3 of the projected 20-25M netbook shipment next year.
