LAPTOP Mag assigned staff writer Jeffrey Wilson to the task of determining how the Asus Eee PC stacks up against more featured packed computers by asking him to use the sub-portable instead of his Macbook for five days.
His initial impression was that the Eee PC is one travel-friendly notebook. He was also quite impressed with the startup time. By day 5, he has judged it to be the perfect companion. Not surprisingly, his recommendation, particularly to fence-sitters, is to go ahead and get one.
You can read his mini-diary about his experiences here.
