It turns out there’s a catch with the Asus Eee PC 1101HA's feature that lets you tweak the overclock value from between 15% and 32%. If you upgrade the RAM from 1GB to 2GB or update the BIOS to the latest version you lose the ability to alter the overclock value in the BIOS. There are no known workaround at the moment.

strange I just bought this machine with 2gb pre-installed and win7 premium.... just runs ok, although some freezes due to auto overclocking I guess... have not upgraded the drivers yet , still working for easily 6 hours straight without to worry about battery time!
[saw 4 dexter's of 50 mins and did some browsing etc etc.... still 2 hours to go without setting screen to minimum dim....
Isn't there only four brands of RAM that allow overclocking? The models are on the Asus website
