China-based PC vendor Haier aims to ship 300,000 Classmate PCs in 2007 with the production outsourced to Elitegroup Computer Systems (ECS). In addition, Haier is also expected to ship more than 600,000 PCs in 2007, with the bulk of manufacturing outsourced to Asustek Computer and a smaller portion to Clevo. Haier's 2006 PC shipments topped over 400,000 units.
