Notebook PC Sales Outpace Desktops

According to iSuppli, 38.6 million notebooks were shipped in Q3, up almost 40% year-on-year. In comparison, only 38.5 million desktops were shipped in the same quarter, for just 1.3% growth. Significantly, it was the first time, notebook sales were higher than desktop sales.
