From PC World -
Unsecured wireless networks has long been an issue and present a problem for a lot of companies. There are solutions but most are expensive such as putting energy-efficient windows or physically blocking radio signals. And while RF-blocking paints have been around for quite a while, they are becoming increasingly obsolete with the new, higher frequencies used to transmit data.
But now Japanese researchers have at the University of Tokyo led by Shin-ichi Ohkoshi say they now have a paint that can block the higher frequencies by using a new aluminium-iron oxide capable of blocking waves at frequencies four times higher The best part is the manufacturing cost is very cheap, at only around $14 per kg.
