QTWeb is a free portable no-install Windows browser that is not only fast but has a quick-fire privacy mode as well. And despite its small size, it has features that include password-saving, tabbed navigation, and plug-in compatibility, making it a great choice as a slimmed-down browser for on-the-go surfing.
QTWeb download page here. Make sure to select the "stand-alone executable" if you're going the USB route.
