ViewSonic has announced a series of new products at CES. Included in the launch is the company's first netbook, dubbed VieBook. It uses the Intel Atom 1.6GHz processor, combined with 1GB of memory, a 160GB HD and the usual connectivity options available in most netbooks - a 10/100 Ethernet LAN connection, 802.11 b/g WiFi, Bluetooth, 1.3MP webcam and 4-in-1 card reader. It also has a 10.2" screen, a 3 hour battery, and comes with Windows XP Home Edition. It will be available in February 2009 at an MSRP of $429.
