From Liliputing -
The Emtec Gdium Liberty 1000 is different from other netbooks with its 900MHz Loongson CPU and removable USB key called the G-Key, from where the entire OS runs. This makes it easy for users to share a unit without mixing up their settings and data.
It was first released this summer at €349, or more than $500. But Amazon is now selling it for $265.99 plus free shipping. The caveat is its MIPS-based Loongson CPU can’t run Windows XP, Vista, or 7. Instead it comes with a customized Mandriva Linux that includes widgets for interacting with desktop and web services.
