Intel has announced its new i7 mobile processor based on the Nehalem architecture and meant for high-end, high-speed laptops. The i7 is their fastest laptop processor ever with four cores of processing power.
New features include the Turbo Boost technology and Hyper-Threading Technology. The former allows your computer to detect when it has excess power and push the processors harder in order to take advantage of the glut, the latter delivers "thread-level parallelism on each processor resulting in more efficient use of processor resources..."
The new i7 also has two-channel DDR3 1333 MHz memory support with full PCI Express 2.0 graphics.
